- Curriculum
Hot work operations such as welding, cutting, and grinding are among the most hazardous activities in industrial environments, posing serious risks of fire, explosion, and injury if not properly controlled. This 6-hour training course provides participants with essential knowledge and safe work practices to perform hot work safely and in compliance with international safety standards and organizational procedures.
Participants will learn how to identify potential fire hazards, implement effective control measures, use proper PPE, and understand permit-to-work systems. The course also emphasizes risk assessment, fire watch responsibilities, and emergency preparedness to minimize incidents during hot work operations. Through case studies, demonstrations, and interactive discussions, participants will develop a practical understanding of how to manage hot work tasks in confined spaces, process areas, and workshops.
By the end of this course, attendees will be able to conduct safe hot work activities and contribute to a stronger safety culture in their workplace.
