ISO 9001:2015
ISO 9001:2015 is the globally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), providing a framework for organizations to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements, enhance customer satisfaction, and continuously improve processes through risk-based thinking and a process approach (Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle). It’s applicable to any organization, regardless of size or industry, and focuses on delivering quality products/services effectively.
Key Aspects of ISO 9001:2015:
Quality Management System (QMS): Defines requirements for a system to manage quality effectively.
Customer Focus: A core principle is understanding and meeting customer needs.
Process Approach: Encourages managing activities as interrelated processes.

- Select Registrar: Choose an accredited certification body (e.g., SGS, IAS).
- Stage 1 Audit (Documentation Review): Auditor reviews documentation (manual, procedures) off-site to check readiness and identify gaps.
- Stage 2 Audit (Implementation Audit): Auditor assesses if the QMS is fully implemented and effective on-site.
- Certification: If successful, the registrar issues the ISO 9001:2015 certificate.
